Description
Nora McCord received her Master of Science in nursing degree from Oakland University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Calvin College. McCord is certified in critical care for nurses, basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, advanced trauma care for nurses, continuous renal replacement therapy, and is National Institute of Stroke certified. Her experience includes working as a registered nurse in a neuroscience intensive care unit where she cared for critically ill neurotrauma and neurosurgical patients. She also has experience as a Charge Nurse and training and mentoring students. McCord joined Oaklawn in 2022.
