Description
Growing up, Rebecca had always been drawn to babies, pregnancy, and childbirth. She could always be found cradling the most recent newborn or volunteering for the church nursery. Rebecca knew that when she “grew up, ” she would work with babies or children somehow. She was looking for something that could use my passion for nurturing/inspiring others and took a little bit of a roundabout way to become a midwife. Initially she earned a degree in family studies before deciding nursing was the best option for her. When she learned what nurse-midwifery was all about, Rebecca knew it was what she wanted to be. “I love this career and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else, ” says Rebecca.
