Amy Schense, FNP

Amy found her calling for nursing during her experience being hospitalized at Bronson as an adolescent. “I had the best care at Bronson, and it was in that moment I knew I wanted to impact someone else in the same way, ” says Amy. Since then she has spent over 20 years working in a hospital setting in various positions including unit clerk, patient care assistant, nurse and now a family nurse practitioner. Her passion for providing care to patients in the acute care setting motivated her to become a nurse at the highest level. Amy enjoys learning new things each day and applying the knowledge she gains to the way she provides care. Her desire to learn new things contributes to the wide range of interests she has in her field.
